Overview
This standard specifies the requirements for pipe couplings which shall at least be met in order to be suitable for use on-board ships. Pipe couplings according to this standard are used in shipbuilding for the tight connection of metallic pipe components with the connection and envelope dimensions according to DIN 86128-2. The application of this standard can be agreed for other standardized and non-standardized pipe couplings.
