This standard specifies requirements for head pipe plugs for the sealing of holes with cylindrical internal threads in accordance with DIN 158-1, DIN 3858, DIN EN ISO 228-1 and DIN ISO 261. With respect to the previous standard, in addition to editorial revisions, the ISO widths across flats have been incorporated and the technical delivery conditions have been revised. This document has been prepared by NA 067-00-08 AA "Verbindungselemente mit Sonderformen und aus Kunststoff" ("Fasteners with special elements and made of plastic") at the Fasteners Standards Committee (FMV).
