This standard specifies requirements for square weld nuts with coarse metric threads from sizes M4 to M16 and with fine pitch metric threads from 8 mm to 16 mm in product grade A. In addition to editorial adjustments and corrections, adaptations in accordance with the new edition of DIN EN ISO 898-2 have been made. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 067-00-03 AA "Verbindungselemente mit metrischem Innengewinde" ("Fasteners with metric internal thread") at the Standards Committee Fasteners (FMV) at DIN.
