This document has been prepared by the Fasteners Standards Committee (FMV), Working Committee NA 067-00-09 AA "Verbindungselemente ohne Gewinde" ("Fasteners without thread"). This standard applies for retaining rings with lugs for shafts. The retaining rings are suitable for holding machine parts which have chamfer dimensions (fillets or chamfers), and for concealed installation. They are formed eccentrically and have several lugs with the same radial width distributed on the circumference.
