DIN 9832:2011-04

The standard DIN 9832 applies to holders for guide bushes used in tools for pressing. In the standard, the dimensions and tolerances of holders are specified, which serve the fixing of guide bushes in accordance with the standard series DIN 9831 " Guide bushes for press tools sets" and in accordance with standard DIN 9834 "Guide bushes" as well as the fixing of guide pillars in accordance with the standards DIN 9825-3 and DIN 9825-4, and DIN 9833. Along with the dimensions for different size classes of holders DIN 9832 provides information about the material as well as standard designation of the building components. Revision of the standard has been necessary in order to rescind the unnecessary limitation in the selection of materials. Furthermore, the normative references have been updated or corrected. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 121-03-02 AA "Werkzeuge der Stanztechnik" ("Tools for pressing") of the FWS at DIN.
