DIN EN 10207:2018-02

The new Directive 2014/29/EU for simple pressure vessels replaced Directive 2009/105/EC with binding effect on April 19, 2016. As EN 10207 is cited as a harmonized standard in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), the Technical Committee ECISS/TC 107 "Steels for pressure purposes" has initiated the revision in order to adapt the content of the standard to the new Directive 2014/29/EU. This European Standard specifies the technical delivery requirements for plates, strips and bars made of steel in accordance with the specifications for pressurized parts in simple pressure vessels as defined in the Directive 2014/29/EU and standardized in EN 286-1 to EN 286-3. The responsible German standardization committee is Subcommittee 04/2 "Stähle für den Druckbehälterbau" ("Steels for pressure purposes") at DIN Standards Committee Iron and Steel (FES).
