DIN EN 10216-2:2025-02

This standard contains the technical delivery conditions for seamless tubes with a circular cross-section made of unalloyed, alloyed and stainless steel. They are used as pressurized components in plant and power plant construction, for example as tubes for steam generators in fossil-fired power plants. As liquids/gases often flow through the tubes under high pressure and the liquids/gases therefore pose a considerable potential hazard, the tubes standardized here are subject to the European Pressure Equipment Directive. Tubes in accordance with this harmonized standard are generally supplied with a CE mark. The concept of EN 10216-2 has been retained compared to the previous edition of this standard. The committee NA 021-00-09-04 UA "Rohre aus warmfesten oder kaltzähen Stählen" ("Creep-resisting tubes and tubes with low temperature properties") at DIN is responsible.
