This European Standard specifies the procedures for determining the geometric characteristics of electrical steel sheet and strip. This document applies to electrical steel sheet and strip intended for the construction of magnetic circuits and corresponding to Clauses B2, C21, C22, and C23 of EN 60404-1:2017. The responsible German standardization committee is NA 021-00-07 GA "Elektroblech" ("Joint Working Committee FES/DKE: Electrical steel" of Standards Committee Iron and Steel (FES at DIN) and DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
