Overview

The amendment to DIN EN 10268:2006-10 became necessary due to the fact that consensus was reached to delete phosphorus-alloyed steels from the standard. All information regarding the steel grades HC180B, HC220B, HC260B and HC300B are no longer included in Tables 1 and 2. The applicable definition 3.2 has also been deleted. Steel grades HC460LA and HC500LA have been included (see Tables 1 to 3). Moreover, a new subclause 5.5.4 dealing with freedom from stretcher strain marks has been incorporated and 6.3, 6.5.1 and 6.5.3 have been reformulated.
