DIN EN 1069-1:2010-12

The standard DIN EN 1069-1 is applicable to all water slides installed in swimming pools of public use, regardless of whether or not they are described in this standard. It specifies general requirements for all types of water slides in swimming pools of public use and specific requirements for defined types of water slides. These specific safety requirements shall also be applied, as far as possible, to undefined types. These requirements concern safety and the technical rules for design, calculation and testing. EN 1069-1:2010 has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 136/WG 3 "Water slides", the secretariat of which is held by DIN (Germany). The responsible German Committee is Working Committee NA 112-05-01 AA "Schwimmsportanlagen und -geräte" ("Swimmingpool facilities and equipment") of the Sports Equipment Standards Committee (NASport) at DIN.
