This European Standard describes the general functional requirements for buried pipelines for maximum operating pressures up to and including 16 bar for gaseous fuels in accordance with EN 437:1993, Table 1. It applies to the design, construction, commissioning, decommissioning, operation, maintenance, renovation and other associated works. It is particularly directed at designers, contractors and energy industry network operators. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 032-02-02 AA "Gasverteilung" ("Gas distribution") at DIN.
