The standard series DIN EN 12007-1 to -5 describes general principles and requirements which shall be observed during design, construction and operation of gas distribution networks for a maximum operating pressure up to and including 16 bar. Target group of this standard series is therefore designers and operators of gas distribution systems. Against this background, this European Standard EN 12007-3 deals with specific functional requirements for steel pipelines in addition to the general functional requirements of EN 12007-1.
