This European Standard describes general functional requirements of the usually buried service lines for a maximum operating pressure up to and including 16 bar operated with gaseous fuels in accordance with EN 437:1993, Table 1. It applies to the design, construction, commissioning, decommissioning, operation and maintenance. This standard is particularly directed at designers, contractors and energy industry network operators. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 032-02-02 AA "Gasverteilung" ("Gas distribution") at DIN.
