Overview
This European Standard applies to non-return valves for wastewater lifting plants for wastewater containing and free of faeces which, either integrated or as a separate part of the lifting plant, prevent the return of the wastewater from the pressure line to the collecting tank. This Standard specifies general requirements, basic construction and testing principles together with information on materials and the relevant assessment and verification of constancy of performance. This Standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 119-05-23 AA "Abwasserhebeanlagen (CEN/TC 165/WG 21/TG 4)" ("Wastewater lifting plants") at DIN Standards Committee Water Practice (NAW).
