DIN EN 12101-3:2015-12

This European Standard specifies the products characteristics of powered smoke and heat control ventilators (fans) intended to be used as part of a powered smoke and heat control ventilation system in construction works. It provides test and assessment methods of the characteristics and the compliance criteria of the test assessment results. This European Standard applies to the following: a) fans for smoke and heat control ventilation; b) impulse/jet fans for smoke and heat control ventilation. This standard differs from DIN EN 12101-3:2002-06 and DIN EN 12101-3 Corrigendum 1:2006-04 as follows: a) the standard has undergone a technical revision. Regarding the German collaboration the committee responsible for this standard is Working Committee NA 005-52-32 AA "Rauch- und Wärmefreihaltung (SpA zu CEN/TC 191/SC 1 und ISO/TC 21/SC 11 sowie zu Teilbereichen von CEN/TC 127/WG 7)" ("Smoke and heat control systems (mirror committee of CEN/TC 191/SC 1 and ISO/TC 21/SC 11 as well as sub-sections of CEN/TC 127/WG 7)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
