Overview
The standard DIN EN 12165 specifies the composition, property requirements and dimensional tolerances for forging stock of copper and copper alloys. The sampling procedures and the test methods for verification of conformity to the requirements of this standard are also specified. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 133 "Copper and copper alloys" (secretariat: DIN). Regarding German collaboration, the responsible Committee is Working Committee NA 066-02-04 AA "Strangpress- und Zieherzeugnisse" ("Extruded and drawn products") at FNNE.
