Overview
This European Standard specifies a method of determining the long term bond behaviour between reinforcing bars and autoclaved aerated concrete in prefabricated reinforced components according to EN 12602. The test method is conceived to obtain values for the long term bond strength which are obtained in a final short term test. The test is performed for different combinations of concrete type, bar shape, and corrosion protection systems. At DIN the responsible Committee is NA 005-07-09 AA "Porenbeton und haufwerksporiger Leichtbeton (Sp CEN/TC 177)" ("Autoclaved aerated concrete and non-fines lightweight concrete (Sp CEN/TC 177)").
