DIN EN 12390-1:2012-12

This European Standard specifies the shape, dimensions and tolerances of cast concrete test specimens in the form of cubes, cylinders and prisms, and of the moulds required to produce them. The tolerances specified in this European Standard are based on the needs of strength testing, but they can be applicable to tests for other properties. This standard differs from DIN EN 12390-1:2001-02 and DIN EN 12390-1 Corrigendum 1:2006-05 as follows: a) editorial revision; b) the tolerances for the dimensions of the specimens which reflect current industry practice have been increased. The responsible national committee is Working Committee NA 005-07-05 AA "Prüfverfahren für Beton (Sp CEN/TC 104/SC 1/TG 8 und CEN/TC 51/WG 12)" ("Test methods for concrete (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 104/SC 1/TG 8 and CEN/TC 51/WG 12)") at the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee (NABau) at DIN.
