This document has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 336 "Bituminous binders", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). The responsible German committee is Joint Working Committee NA 062-03-32 GA "Bitumen; Prüfverfahren und Anforderungen für Bindemittel" ("Bitumen; test methods and specifications of binders") at the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) and the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee (NABau) at DIN. This European Standard defines terms for paving or industrial bitumen of various types and binders derived from bitumen.
