This European Standard specifies test methods for validating the requirements for Factory Made Thermal Solar Heating Systems as specified in EN 12976-1. The standard also includes two test methods for thermal performance characterization by means of whole system testing. This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 312 "Thermal solar systems and components" (secretariat : ELOT, Greece) in collaboration with Working Committee NA 041-01-56 AA "Solaranlagen" ("Solar systems") at DIN Standards Committee Heating and Ventilation Technology and their Safety (NHRS) at German Institute for Standardization e. V.
