This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for durability, strength, security and functionality of sash balances. This standard differs from DIN CEN/TS 13126-13:2004-08 as follows: a) DIN EN has been fundamentally revised and brought in line with the other parts of the standard; b) clause 4 "Classification" has been amended; c) clause 5 "Requirements" has been revised; d) the test procedures have been revised.
