This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for durability, strength, security and function of sash fasteners for windows and door height windows. This standard differs from DIN CEN/TS 13126-14:2004-08 as follows: a) DIN EN has been fundamentally revised and brought in line with the other parts of the standard; b) an example of classification has been included; c) clause 5 "Requirements" has been completely revised; d) clause 7 "Test methods" has been revised; e) the test procedures have been revised.
