Overview

This European Standard specifies the procedures and the criteria for the evaluation of the conformity of a thermal insulating product with the relevant European product specification. The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN EN 13172:2007-12: a) further clarification of the text; b) subclauses on requirements for factory production control - tasks for the manufacturer has been supplemented; c) Table has been incorporated for k-factors for estimated standard deviations. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-56-60 AA "Wärmedämmstoffe (Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 88)" ("Thermal insulating materials (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 88)") at DIN.
