This standard specifies minimum requirements concerning material, design, construction and workmanship, manufacturing processes and testing of refillable transportable welded carbon steel gas cylinders of water capacities up to and including 150 l for compressed, liquefied and dissolved gases. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 016-00-03 AA "Druckgasflaschen und Ausrüstung (Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 23 und ISO/TC 58)" ("Transportable gas cylinders and equipment (mirror committee to CEN/TC 23 and ISO/TC 58)") at DIN Standards Committee Pressurized Gas Installations (NDG).
