DIN EN 13329:2024-03

This European standard defines the properties, requirements and test methods for laminate flooring, as well as requirements for labeling and packaging. The previous three standards DIN EN 13329, DIN EN 14978 and DIN EN 15468 for laminate flooring are combined. At the same time, the test methods for determining the geometric properties and for determining the resistance to abrasion, which were previously specified in the annexes of DIN EN 13329, are replaced by references to EN 17539 and ISO 24338 respectively. The chair castor test according to EN 425 is replaced by a test according to EN ISO 4918 with adapted requirements. In addition, resistance to water according to ISO 4760 is included as an additional technical property and information on recycling is added. The committee responsible for this European Standard is NA 042-04-30 AA "Laminatböden" ("Laminate floor coverings") at DIN.
