DIN EN 13336:2012-12

This document (EN 13336:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 289 "Leather", the secretariat of which is held by UNI (Italy). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 062-05-51 AA "Anforderungen und physikalische Prüfverfahren für Leder und seine Ausgangsprodukte" ("Requirements and physical test methods of leather and ..."), Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 289 "Leather" of the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) at DIN. This standard differs from DIN EN 13336:2004-11 as follows: a) standard has been editorially revised; b) reference to terms in accordance with DIN EN 15987 has been added; c) Annex A has been deleted, Tables 1 and 2 have been incorporated into clause 7; d) Tables 1a, 1b and 1c have been combined. This European Standard gives guidelines for the test methods and recommended values for upholstery leather for furniture. This European Standard also specifies the sampling and conditioning procedures of specimens. Furs, hair-on leathers and wool-on leathers are not covered by this standard.
