Overview

This European Standard specifies the inspection and testing of individual and serially produced pressure vessels made of steels in accordance with EN 13445-2:2009 subject to predominantly non-dynamic load (that is, vessels operating below 500 full equivalent pressure cycles). Special provisions for cyclic operation are given in EN 13445-3:2009 and in Annex G of this part of the standard. Special provisions for vessels or vessel parts working in the creep range are specified in Clause 5, Clause 6, Clause 10, Annex F and Annex I. The responsible German committee is NA 012-00-05 AA "Unbefeuerte Druckbehälter" ("Unfired pressure vessels") at the Chemical Apparatus Engineering Standards Committee (FNCA).
