This standard describes the requirements for fabrication and installation of piping systems, including supports, designed in accordance with EN 13480-3. The aim of the first complete revision of EN 13480-4:2002 is to adapt it to the state of the art and increase user-friendliness. This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 267 "Industrial piping and pipelines", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 082-00-17 AA "Industrielle Rohrleitungen und Rohrfernleitungen" ("Industrial piping and pipelines") at the Piping and Boiler Plant Standards Committee (NARD).
