Overview
This standard describes the requirements for inspection and testing of metallic industrial piping as defined in EN 13480-1 to be performed on individual spools or piping systems, including supports, designed in accordance with EN 13480-3 and EN 13480-6 (if applicable), and fabricated and installed in accordance with EN 13480-4. The aim of the first complete revision of EN 13480-5:2002 is the adaptation to the state of the art and an increased user-friendliness. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 267 "Industrial piping and pipelines", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). Regarding the German collaboration, the responsible committee is Working Committee is NA 082-00-17 AA "Industrielle Rohrleitungen" ("Industrial piping") at the Piping and Boiler Plant Standards Committee (NARD).
