This standard specifies requirements for industrial piping either totally buried or partly buried and partly run in sleeves or similar protection. It shall be used in conjunction with the other seven parts of EN 13480. This document (EN 13480-6:2012) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 267 "Industrial piping and pipelines", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 082-00-17 AA "Industrielle Rohrleitungen und Rohrfernleitungen" ("Industrial piping and pipelines") at the Piping and Boiler Plant Standards Committee (NARD).
