This Amendment A1 contains revisions of DIN EN 13480-8-2012-11. The following changes have been made: a) normative references have been updated; b) in 5.2, requirements for inspection documents have been added; c) in 5.6, the requirements on design temperature and properties have been revised; d) 6.8 on port-hole extruded tubes has been added; e) 6.9 on alternative methods for design was added; f) in 8.2.3, the requirements for destructive testing on formed and heat treated parts have been revised; g) an informative Annex C containing the permissible strength values for the design has been added. This amendment has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 267 "Industrial piping and pipelines", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France). Regarding the German collaboration, Working Committee NA 082-00-17 AA "Industrielle Rohrleitungen und Rohrfernleitungen" ("Industrial piping and pipeline") at the Piping and Boiler Plant Standards Committee (NARD) is responsible.
