Overview

This standard specifies important principles which shall be taken into consideration when surfaces of metallic parts are prepared for thermal spraying. They are valid for new production as well as for the repair of worn parts. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 240 "Thermal spraying and thermal sprayed coatings". The responsible German standardization committee is Joint Committee of the same name DIN/DVS NA 092-00-14 AA of Welding Standards Committee (NAS).
