This European Standard specifies a method of measurement of the volume under load of sleeping bags and a method of calculation of easiness of packing of sleeping bags filled with feather and/or down. This document (EN 13538-3:2016) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 136 "Sports, playground and other recreational facilities and equipment" in Working Group WG 11 "Sleeping bags", the secretariat of which is held by DIN (Germany). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 112-02-03 AA "Schlafsäcke" ("Sleeping bags") at DIN Standards Committee Sports Equipment (NASport).
