Overview
This document specifies supplementary acoustic test methods for hearing protectors with additional electronic functions. The purpose of these tests is to enable assessment of the hearing protector performance as specified in the appropriate product standards. The product standards referred to are DIN EN 352-4 to -10. In addition, this standard contains informative calculation tables with calculation examples for level-dependent earplugs and calculation examples for active noise reduction (ANR) so that users of the standard can perform their own calculations. The responsible committee for this standard at DIN is NA 075-02-01 AA "Gehörschutz" ("Hearing protection").
