This European Standard specifies siliceous and calcareous fly ash used in hydraulically bound mixtures for the construction of roads, airfields and other trafficked areas. This European Standard applies to fly ash produced by the combustion of pulverised coal or lignite in energy generating plants. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-10-90 AA "SpA zu CEN/TC 154/SC 3, 4 und SpA zu CEN/TC 227/WG 4" ("national mirror committee for CEN/TC 154, SC 3, 4 and mirror committee for CEN/TC 227/WG 4") at DIN.
