Overview
This European Standard specifies the surface requirements and dimensional tolerances for decorative melamine faced boards for interior use. It applies to particleboard, extruded board, fiberboard and sandwich panels for furniture. Compared to DIN EN 14322:2004-06, extruded panels and sandwich panels for furniture are also taken into account. The classification of abrasion resistance and the specifications for formaldehyde determination have been revised, the behavior towards cigarette burns has been deleted. DIN committee NA 042-02-15 AA "Holzwerkstoffe - Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 112 und ISO/TC 89" ("Wood-based panels - Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 112 and ISO/TC 89") is responsible for this standard.
