DIN EN 14420-7:2013-09

This European Standard specifies the design, materials and dimensions for cam locking couplings that serve as the link between hoses and connections to transport liquids, solids and gases, except for liquid gas and steam. The couplings shall be capable of operating in the pressure range -0,8 bar to 16 bar working pressure in a working temperature range of -20 °C up to +65 °C. When using aluminium cast materials the maximum working temperature is limited to 10 bar. This European Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (Great Britain). Regarding the German collaboration Working Committee NA 082-00-02 AA "Schlauchkupplungen" ("Hose couplings") at the Piping and Boiler Plant Standards Committee (NARD) is responsible.
