DIN EN 14912:2015-05

This European Standard specifies the requirements for inspection and maintenance of LPG cylinder valves, either manually operated or self-closing, for reuse. It applies when the valve is either inspected or refurbished at the time of periodic inspection of the cylinder. This European Standard may also be applied at any other time, for example, when maintenance of the valve is necessary. This document replaces the published DIN EN 14912:2006-03. Compared with the previous version, the requirements for P 200, paragraph 12 of the ADR were aligned and the inspection of safety valves and environmental aspects were included. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 016-00-06 AA "Flüssiggas-Geräte und Ausrüstung; Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 286" ("Liquefied petroleum gas equipment and accessories; Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 286") at DIN.
