DIN EN 15048-1:2016-09

The standard DIN EN 15048-1 is the German version of EN 15048-1. This standard specifies the general requirements for non-preloaded structural bolting assemblies. The standard has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the European Free Trade Association and supports essential working requirements of EU Regulation No. 305/2011. The DIN EN 15048 series of standards is intended for manufacturers and users of non-preloaded structural bolting assemblies. In particular, it contains the essential characteristics for CE marking and the test and evaluation procedures to be applied. This standard is a revision of the standard from 2007. The European Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners", the secretariat of which is held by DIN (Germany). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 067-00-07 AA "Verbindungselemente für den Metallbau" ("Structural bolting") at Standards Committee Fasteners (FMV) at DIN.
