The standard DIN EN 15048-2 is the German version of EN 15048-2. This standard specifies the requirements to ensure that non-preloaded structural bolting assemblies (bolts + nuts) are fit for purpose in structural metallic works. The DIN EN 15048 series of standards is intended for manufacturers and users of non-preloaded structural bolting assemblies in metallic works. This standard is a revision of the standard from 2007. The European Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 067-00-07 AA "Verbindungselemente für den Metallbau" ("Structural bolting") at DIN Standards Committee Fasteners (FMV).
