Overview
The European Standard is a new edition. In addition to purity criteria and the corresponding analytical methods, it also specifies requirements for the labelling, transportation and storage of ozone as well as specific rules relating to safety. It also provides information on physical and chemical properties as well as general information on the manufacturing process and use of ozone. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 164/WG 9 "Drinking Water Treatment" (secretariat: AFNOR, France) with the active German collaboration of Joint Subcommittee NA 119-07-04-01 UA "Aufbereitungsstoffe und -anlagen" ("Chemicals and plants for water treatment") of the NAW at DVGW and DIN.
