This part of EN 1514 specifies the dimensions and marking of spiral wound gaskets for use in conjunction with flat face and raised face flanges complying with the requirements of EN 1092-1 for PN 10, PN 16, PN 25, PN 40, PN 63, PN 100 and PN 160 and up to and including DN 1 000. The most significant modification in this revised document is the addition of dimensions for PN 16. This document (EN 1514-2:2014) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 74 "Flanges and their joints", the secretariat of which is held by DIN (Germany). Regarding the German collaboration, the responsible committee is Working Committee NA 082-00-16 AA "Flansche und ihre Verbindungen" ("Flanges and their joints") at the Standards Committee Piping and Boiler Plant (NARD).
