Overview
This document defines the procedures to fulfil the quality requirements and describes measures to ensure adequate confidence that the biofuel specification is fulfilled. Therewith, it covers the whole chain, from supply of raw materials to point of delivery to the end user. The objective of this document is to serve as a tool to enable the efficient trading of biofuels and a guideline for quality assurance measures that are simple to operate and do not cause undue bureaucracy.
This document has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 335 "Solid biofuels", the secretariat of which is held by SIS (Sweden). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 062-05-82 AA "Feste Biobrennstoffe" ("Solid biofuels") at NMP.
