Overview
This standard specifies a classification system for solid recovered fuels and a template for the specification of their properties. The compliance rules which solid recovered fuels have to meet to be classified according to the classification system are described. It also describes how the supplier can establish a declaration of conformity to the different EN standards for solid recovered fuels. The European Standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 343 "Solid recovered fuels", the secretariat of which is held by SFS (Finland). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 062-05-83 AA "Sekundärbrennstoffe" ("Recovered fuels") of NMP.
