Overview
This Amendment to the European Standard is applicable for CLASS D floating leisure articles for use on and in water according to EN 15649-1 regardless whether the buoyancy is achieved by inflation or inherent buoyant material. The following additional requirements have been included with respect to DIN EN 15649-6:2010: - requirements for swimming in close approximation to extra-large floating leisure articles (requirements for the floating structure, means of connection and testing); - requirements for pressure gauges. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 112-05-09 AA "Aufblasbare schwimmende Freizeitgeräte einschließlich aufblasbarer Boote und Zubehör" ("Inflatable floating leisure articles including inflatable boats and mountings") at DIN.
