Overview
This European Standard deals with the significant hazards, hazardous situations and events, common to demountable machines, as defined in EN 15955-1:2013, intended for construction, maintenance inspection of the railway infrastructure, shunting and emergency rescue vehicles, when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer. This European Standard deals with the common hazards during transport, assembly and installation, commissioning, running on track, use including setting, programming, and process changeover, operation, cleaning, fault finding, maintenance and de-commissioning of the machines. The responsible standardization committee is NA 087-00-01-02 UA "Gleisbaumaschinen und -geräte" ("Track construction and maintenance machines").
