Overview
The standard DIN EN 16125 specifies the requirements for the design, construction, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of LPG pipework in both the liquid phase and at full vapour pressure. This document is not applicable to: - pipelines and their accessories; - pipework for the propulsion systems of road vehicles or boats; and - pipework on ships. DIN EN 16125 deals with pipeline installations with a maximum operating pressure of up to and including 25 bar; it covers both new pipeline installations and the replacement or extension of existing pipeline installations. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 016-00-06 AA "Flüssiggas-Geräte und Ausrüstung; Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 286" ("LPG equipment and accessories; National mirror committee to CEN/TC 286") at DIN.
