The method may be applied to porous inorganic materials either untreated or subjected to any treatment or ageing. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-01-36 AA "Erhaltung des kulturellen Erbes (SpA zu CEN/TC 346)" ("Conservation of cultural property (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 346)") at DIN.
