Overview
The purpose of this European Standard is to describe the call for aid and communication device for enabling disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility to inform a member of the train crew or the driver of a request for assistance and to describe the communication equipment used to enable passengers to speak to authorised persons. This European Standard has been developed for passenger coaches falling within the scope of the Interoperability Directive 2008/57/EU.
