This European Standard applies to porous inorganic materials constituting cultural heritage. It provides the fundamental requirements of the laser parameters and guidelines for the choice of the laser operational parameters, in order to optimize the cleaning procedure. The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 005-01-36 AA "Erhaltung des kulturellen Erbes (SpA zu CEN/TC 346)" ("Conservation of cultural heritage (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 346)") at Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau) at DIN.
